DJ Absurd (alias Monstr): French Born producer & DJ , Absurd began making beats almost ten years ago as a hobby which later developed to the next level over the past 2/3 years.
While best known for his work within the Dubstep and Grime genres, his productions vary within the generic boundaries of all urban electronic music, and can be described as an eclectic mix of influences.
DJ Absurd really began to make waves in the Dubstep and Grime scenes with his first releases - his promo album 'Cream of the Crap' (Resofantom 2005) - followed by the first Grime 12" vinyl to be released in France, 'Gonshat' (Resofantom 2006), and latest through the 'Grimey Frogs' compilation CD and his work with Nika D from Virus syndicate on 'felt the need' (Aphex recordings 2007). Recently he started making bigger waves on the dubstep scene with his bassline driven bangers that charted up to 4th in various digital resellers platforms best-sellers charts.
Also the founder & front man, for the Resofantom label/crew, DJ Absurd has been at the forefront of the european Grime/Dubstep scene through both his production and DJing - having played alongside some of the most renound MC's & DJ's from the worlds underground urban music scene.
