Originally from France Rootsteady arrived in the UK 3 years ago. Rootsteady grew up in a musical environment and started collecting reggae vinyl’s at the age of 15, this saw him surrounded and influenced by the biggest Jamaican reggae artists such as Lutan Fyah, Max Romeo, Lee Scratch... He recorded numerous exclusive dubplates, Rusko recently remixed one of his tunes producing the infamous, "Sound Guy" featuring Lutan Fyah released on Babylon Vol.2. After 10 years international experience DJing from France to the UK he a regular on the UK scene having played at a number of high caliber events including Bar Rumba, Herbal and Elbow room he has recently gained a DJ residency at London’s number one and biggest nightclub, Fabric; playing alongside the likes of Mad Professor, Ed Rush & Optical, Marcus Intalex, Calibre, Goldie.
